Welcome to Career Online High School!
Our library offers a scholarship program for Career Online High School (COHS). From this Online Instruction Center, you can:
- Browse the career courses available
- Enroll for Part 1: the COHS prerequisite career course
- Enroll in Part 2: the full COHS program
- Log-in as a student and access your classroom
Here’s how it works:
Step 1 – By now, you should have completed a basic self-assessment to determine if you have the time, a quiet work space and access to internet-based technology necessary to ensure your success in the program.
Step 2 – Browse the catalog and choose your career focus e.g. Part 1 – Certified Protection Officer. Use your library card to enroll in the course of your choice. This is a two-week long prerequisite course. Note: it is important that you complete the prerequisite coursework in two weeks or less.
Step 3 – Once you complete the two-week prerequisite course, request a scholarship by enrolling in Part 2 of this career area e.g. Part 2 - Certified Protection Officer (Prerequisite required). This course is a continuation of the career area you selected for your prerequisite course.
Step 4 – The library will receive your enrollment request and contact you to discuss the next steps. Note: until you speak with the library, you won’t be able to access the Part 2 course.
