I have learned so much from this class and I am truly grateful that I was able to take this course! As a person whom is just starting a job in the non-profit sector, I paid close attention the Lesson's on budgeting and finance. I do not have a degree in finance but this class taught me that I needed to at least know the basics to run a non-profit. This class showed me how to structure a non-profit and break down the roles and duties of an Executive Director. I highly recommend this course to anyone is looking to learn about Nonprofit management.

The instructor, Linda Kissam, is very knowledgeable on the subject. She goes into detail but at the same time stays focused on the important highlights of every subject. I have been doing the same thing for years and after a few layoffs and restructures in media, I decided I was ready to do something more fulfilling and this is step one. I have worked with nonprofits from a media standpoint for several years, but on the other side of the desk. Now I hope to jump to the other side and work at a nonprofit.
